The 5 PM Handoff: Corporate Mom to Ballfield Mom
There’s a special kind of wardrobe change that happens between the last meeting and the first pitch.
Work shoes off. Ballfield shoes on. Laptop closed. Game schedule open. Somewhere in between, somebody needs dinner, a clean uniform, and an answer to “What field are we on?”

Some evenings run smoothly. Others involve a drive-through dinner and discovering that the folding chair never made it back into the car. Neither version measures how much you care.
