The Baseball Tournament Packing List
Tournament weekends start the night before. If you’ve ever pulled into the parking lot and realized the sunscreen is still on the kitchen counter, this list is for you.
Screenshot it, print it, or save it for Friday night.
For the bleachers
Stadium seat or folding chair
Blanket for cold mornings (a bleacher blanket pulls double duty)
Layers: sweatshirt, light jacket, rain poncho
Hat and sunglasses
Sunscreen and bug spray
For the cooler
Water and sports drinks, more than you think you need
Easy snacks that hold up in the heat
Lunch for the gap between games
A big tumbler that stays cold all day, like the Three Bow Tumbler with Handle
Ice packs and a trash bag
For the player
Both uniforms, belt and socks
Cleats, glove, bat, helmet and batting gloves
Extra hair ties and pre-wrap
A change of clothes for the drive home
Towel and a plastic bag for muddy gear
For mom’s bag
Phone charger and battery pack
Cash for the gate and the concession stand
First-aid basics, tissues and wipes
Tournament schedule, hotel info and the field address
Something to keep younger siblings busy
A clear game-day tote makes it easy to find all of this without digging. Some fields have bag rules, so check the venue before you go.
